I am running the RedSea Max double pump model. It hands down blows away my Deltec MCE600 and it half the size.
The bubble output is phenominal!!!! Due to the small size of the bubbles, the foam density is increased many times over. Increasing surface area greatly. I have had mine for about 3 weeks and my water clarity is...............well, it looks like there is no water in the tank!!!!!
I love this skimmer!!!! And it's built here in the USA!

The "Hot Glue" is actually a special bonding compound from 3M which Robert of Euro Reef assured us would hold up under the most rigorous use.

are there any issues with the hot glue holding up under the spin these things are going to be under?

any idea of the metal that these are made of? i would worry about something from the metal leaching into the water or possibly the saltwater doing bad things to the metal.
