CoralVue High Seas Prop Wave pumps make an appearance

A new type of propeller pump from CoralVue has made its way over the ocean and into some stores across the United States, the pump is being branded as a CoralVue High Seas pump and is targeted for the budget aware aquarist. In all there are 4 pumps in this new lineup ranging from the 101b model which pushes 750 gph up to 3000 gph with the 202B model. Pricing starts at only $30. CoralVue’s new propeller water wave pumps look very similar to Koralia’s, we first spotted these new pumps at the Midwest Frag Fest and took a couple of snapshots for all of you to see. The 4 models which start with 101b which pushes 750 gph while using 6 watts and features a magnetic mount attachment. I think they are cool. Kind of like a couple of black boobs that can circulate water. Very Nice!

A common knockoff pump on the Australia market as amashun has mention.
There have been multiple instances of these pumps reaking havoc in reef aquaria.
Previous models contained iron shafts that rusted through, most models suffer current leakage into the tank, they are exceptionally noisy and prone to starting in reverse.
