Elos’ new 14k, 20k SpectraChrome bulb can light your reef tank

There is a new SpectraChrome bulb coming in 14k, and 20k varieties. This is an Elos branded bulb that will come in several different types (150w DE, 250SE&DE and 400w SE) and will be available with major retailers in the United States. The SpectraChrome bulb is especially made for the US market after demand for the new colored bulb. The 20k flavor is said to be available in mid December, thats about all we know for now. Of course, you’ll know more when we do, mmmk?

  1. I am using a 70W DE 14K lamp in my Elos E-Power fixture. So far I am VERY pleased with the output and color of this lamp. It is the perfect balance between blue and crisp white. I plan on using the 20K in the next few months.
