Bandit Angelfish, video of a perky juvenile
By Jake Adams on Jan 14, 2010
Juvenile Bandit Angelfish, Apolemichthys arcuatus, are very striking fish for their bold black on white stripes patterning. This well adjusted juvenile aquarium specimen is brimming with personality as he swims confidently around in his 10 gallon QT/conditioning aquarium. This is one of the smalleset A. arcuatus that we have ever seen in person and the active swimming behavior and constantly splayed pelvic fins really made this lil guy a site to behold. There were many other extremely rare fish in the collection of Chris Campbell of Highlands Ranch, Colorado but for us, the juvenile bandit angelfish may as well have been the only other fish in the house. Well maybe not the only other fish, we’ll bring you more on Chris’s amazing reef fish including his 500 gallon tank build but for now, enjoy this original video of one of the most uniquely colored angelfish, the Bandit Angel. Also, if you’re looking for a juvie bandit angel, AquaTouch still has a profesionally quarantined juvenile for sale that they’ve conditioned for over a month and they are selling it for a very fair price.
