Cerameco’s Vida Rock getting some great new shapes

3

Cerameco introduced the Vida Rock recently, a ceramic alternative to live rock, and were on hand at MAX this weekend at the Utah Marine Aquarium Society booth showcasing some of the cool handmade creations. This environmentally friendly solution to traditional live rock fuses ceramic clay with what appears to be aragonite to give it the rough textured look of natural rock. Each piece is handmade so rest assured, you will be getting a one of a kind piece of artwork for your tank. The average price will probably run you about $5-6 a pound but is all organic and won’t leech any harmful substances into your tank. They will also withstand the harsh saltwater environment and provide an ecologically friendly solution to harvested live rock. If you’re looking for a specific shape or look, the Cerameco team will surely be able to get exactly what you need. (ed. note check out the look of the vida rock in EcoReef One)
