Giesemann Helios LED and T5 hybrid, gets European pricing

18

The new Giesemann Helios LED and T5 hybrid is one gorgeous looking light fixture and we’ve been waiting to hear about some pricing details and availability. No word yet on U.S. pricing and distribution but German online vendor Sewa Tec has the light on its website for €1,699.00 (approx. $2,147 USD). But hold onto your Euro’s folks, the website is also showing the units will not be in stock until September 1 (although it appears you can pre-order the light). For those of you looking to add some colorful flair to your setup, the Helios comes in six different colors: diamond and black metallic, titanium and silver metallic, stone gray metallic, an ocean blue “mineral” effect, an amber gold “mineral” effect, and polar white. We are hoping they include the sexy red version we saw at Interzoo.

Yeah… it’s an awesome fixture, but I can setup an entire system (high-end, too) for less than that.

wow, you americans are seriously spoilt if you think $2100 is expensive for this type of light…

yes i could build a dodgy piece of “do it yourself crap” for less but then thats not the point.

thank god for, and, long live german engineering.

I think you may find it a lot more than $2100, the price in Euros to USD is not taking into acount distributors import shipping costs and cost of shipping to dealers.

$3,000 would be a safer bet. And knowing Big G’s quality it will be worth it!

Cool fixture. I’ve always really liked that body style (Infinity). But I’d have to disagree with that color being sexy…it’s horrible.

@Spencer I do like the red but what’s nice is with all the colors, you can get what you prefer to your taste. Besides wouldn’t if be cool to have a “Red Light District” in your living room ;)

@J Nelson I am a fan of blue myself. Been my fav color since I was a wee “frag”
