Aqua Illumination which produces LED lighting for the aquarium industry recently just changed the name on their product AI Wave. That AI Wave will now be called the AI Flare which features the Cree XP-G LED aligned into a nice tube form. Besides the fact that changing your name after you have launched your product is a big no-no, the name fits surprisingly well. Too bad we couldn’t have gotten the right name when the original product launched back at Macna 2010. Talk to your favorite retailer if you want to but a little swagger and flare into your tank.
