Marine Microhabitat from Tropical Marine Centre is a well specced nano reef tank

By on Nov 22, 2010

The Marine Microhabitat from Tropical Marine Centre is an example of what companies can do to take a widely available OEM product and speccing it to a better use. The TMC Microhabitat appears to have similarities to the Dymax 3 gallon and the Betta mini cube tank, both of which have an LED light and a rear filtration chamber. Where the three gallon TMC Microhabitat differentiates is in the use of a larger and brighter AquaRay MicroLED light of medium output LEDs. The rear chamber of the TMC Microhabitat also sports an air driven protein skimmer which should be all the filtration you need for a tank of this volume. The Marine Microhabitat is currently only available in the UK for £99 ($158) from Tropical Marine Centre dealers.

Looks to be the perfect little desk top tank.

Agreed, this looks like a great pico with a preinstalled skimmer so less mods needed. Would be great for an office tank, lets hope it gets brought stateside.
