New Eheim Aquastyle gets in-depth video review

By on Oct 12, 2011

We love video and in-depth reviews so this iss a welcome surprise giving the new Eheim AquaStyle aquarium a thorough rundown being set up for a simple saltwater reef aquarium. Sure this video is a bit lengthy but if you are looking to see if this aquarium is worth checking out, this video is a great way to see it unboxed. There is also a another video in the series where they do a complete unboxing in case you want to see every nook and cranny.

In case you’ve missed the Eheim AquaStyle before, the new AquaStyle nano features a unique corner filter and LED light that use the same bracket. The filter also uses a gentle cascade effect you can have at the surface of the water to provide excellent agitation for good oxygen exchange and preventing a skim layer from forming.

We’re looking forward to some neat mini reef aquariums using the sleek Eheim AquaStyle and know these would be a great candidate for a future Ecoreef. Enjoy the two videos below and we’d love to hear any hands-on impressions you may have with the aquarium.

I saw a number of these in an LFS in Munich, Germany last Spring. They had them in a few different sizes that I haven’t yet seen here in the US.  Came very close to bringing one home.

That expert 90 gallon tank looks like ass!  Rock work seems like its very restricted to flow, the flow looks weak, the corals look dead and the lighting looks like he’s using compact florescent.  If he’s the expert and his Tank looks like that…  than that must mean I’m the God of experts.
