LSS laboratory releases 8 unique nozzle wave  makers.  Some of them have some mechanical trick inside of the nozzle which create very unique wave.  Some of them have unique nozzle top.  The prices are between $18 and $40, so they are really reasonable.   LSS laboratory mentioned that you can extend the length of the nozzle, so you can adjust it with your tank.

The LSS video shows each waves with the nozzle, so you can get some idea what a kind of wave they create.

Umm…Did someone who doesn’t speak English very well hack your site and post this?

I am guessing that the article was submitted from Japan explaining the content and English. Regardless of where it comes from I fail to see the benefit of such a device other than creating some surface water agitation. Possibly I missed something.

They can add random flow without the need for expensive electrically powered attachments and controllable powerheads.

The little circles in the diagrams say “Internal parts move”

Assuming these work well and fit, this looks like a great idea for something like the biocube returns.

Will these make it state side anytime soon? Also, is there any information concerning the inner and outer dims of the “knuckles” or segments. Just wondering about the possibility adding loc-line segments and if they will actually fit snug. Not sure if Loc-Line has some sort of proprietary size.  It has been our experience that most of the eductors on the market are close in size to Loc-line’s modular links but don’t actually fit.
    Thanks

I like them and would certainly replace my Penductors with some of these if they work good. I like the random flow/options available. Only concern is the same concern I have with SCWDs, can they be taken apart and cleaned/repaired? I have tried several SCWDs as well as the Hydor flow attachments and they always jam up due to plastic gears. Every SCWD I tried lasted less than 6 months and had to go in the trash (3/4″ size that you can’t open/repair easily).

We’ve got 1/2″, 3/4,” and 1″ variations available now starting at $15.99 (link: http://ow.ly/8LoTO). We should be getting the mini version soon. We don’t have the exact dims, but they are very similar to 3/4 Loc-Line.

I don’t see any of those random current ones from above in that link you provided. The link looks just like a normal penductor/eductor, ie. flow accelerator.

The bottom of the two has an internal twist to it, similar to one in the article.

??? Which one is the spiral output? Which is the cross flow output? Which is the spread output? Somehow I do not think either of those in the link are the same products shown here. They are similar, but not the same.

When are you guys expecting the Mini version?
