The GHL Mitras LED is one of the highly anticipated products of InterZoo 2012 and we’ve finally gotten a good hard, close-up look under the hood of this feature rich LED. Multicolored LEDs are tightly clustered under the heatsink of the Mitras LED with four cooling fans blowing air across the topside heatsink. Some of the GHL MItras’s LEDs are riding bareback, others have a common reflector a-la Radion and a cluster lens is also expected to be developed in the future. Details of the GHL Mitras are already well covered and smothered but follow the break to see how the Mitras is put together.

The “Bare Back” LED mentioned… do they happen to be the “HyperViolet” LED? I’m just trying to understand the difference/reason for cluster vs stand alone on the unit.

Regardless I can’t wait to start seeing them available here in North America.

It’s like a pimped out radion hehe! Are each clusters identical?

“It’s like a pimped out radion”

I like that!  LOL! Very good analogy!

    Like a Radion but… BETTER :)

Yah, looks like 3 Radions in a single case.

It better be nicer than a Radion at twice the price…

Jake you’re not comparing Apples to Apple there:

GHL Mitras – 62 LEDs per lamp
Radions – 34 LED per fixture

I was responding to your comment:

I REALLY hope those fans do not bring moist air into the area where all those electronics are.

Curious about the wattage per fixture as well as the mounting options. GHL looks like they have a winner!
