The Reeflo SwordTail HP is a new pressure rated pump from the US manufacturer designed to give you strong performance especially when head pressure is an issue. Reeflo describes it as a pressure rated version of the Dart designed for 75-150 gallon tanks. It uses the same motor and pump head but the impeller is customized to allow to flow up to 20 ft. of head pressure.
The new Reeflo Swordtail it is a heavy duty, quality pump that will give you performance with lower power consumption rate (155W) than similar pumps. The pump has a 2 in. FNPT suction and 1-1/2 in. FNPT discharge. But the company notes, that if you want or need to use smaller plumbing, go ahead and reduce it down. They recommend adding your desired bushing on the suction side, but making sure the discharge/output is a smaller diameter than the suction.
If you are interested in the new Reeflo Swordtail HP, plan on dishing out around $299.
