| amazing setup, i gotta ask though, weren't you afraid of such a large scale for the first tank? i mean it looks like you may have a marine biologist in your family but still...

| IceMan - thanks, all i could think about when i first started was what's the biggest display i could fit in my wall. no marine biologist in family, but reading through ton of threads on different forums and searching the entire website. all i did was find a similar system to mine that was dominated SPS with great results and follow what he did. not only that by using their ideas and changing a few things on my ends to make it better. the hardest employee finally gets to eat when everyone sleeping just harvest 5 weeks ago and now its full again ![]() |

| plecosword - thanks Deltec AP1004 teajay33 - stop counting after tank, stand and sump was ordered. dicksonhabetz - thanks, as i mimic from everyone's different ideas and put mine together. took all the flaws out and replace it with something better DEWAYNE - thanks, as i been working hard for the past 15 yrs. Snappy - thanks Greg, hopefully my corals will colored up like yours ![]() not too much of an update as the system been stable for quite sometimes now. still collecting SPS every other week, about few weeks back i had completely removed all mushrooms and placed them in 2nd fuge, since they were jumping from one rock to another. i wish LFS guys would tell me when i bought them that they do that. all the current SPS are doing really great and within 2 weeks prior to mounting them have already encrusted onto rock. |

| I just finished reading this entire thread and this tank sure is amazing. I'm only 18 and once I get out of school and have a good paying job and settle down in a house I am definitely going to build myself a tank like this. You have put some serious work and time into your tank and it really has payed off for you. I wish you the best. |
