Live foods are always the best. The only live foods my fish get are the pods in the tank. Other than that, usually I'll make my own frozen mix. Right now I've got finely chopped krill, bloodworms, mysis, cyclopeze, and garlic. However if you go to your local grocery or fish store, get fresh shrimp, clam, oyster, squid etc. Chop it up fine in a food processor and add the garlic. You'll also want to add cyclopeze again. The fish go nuts for these home made frozen foods. AND, you save a ton of money when you buy at the supermarket.

My sweeties damsels are one step above a cat fish. They will eat anything just not off the bottom lol.

I've heard at least a week between fish but really it would be best to wait until your tank goes through a mini cycle and the levels return back to normal.
