A new company called Fiji Cube is offering all in one tank, sumps, and related aquarium accessories in the United States and abroad. Their Advanced Reef Sump caught our eye – now in its second-generation. The Fijicube sump offers several excellent features like an interchangeable floss filter box and a filter sock holder and a nifty adjustable in-unit water level. Adjusting the water level in a sump is always something that plagues aquarists to have the skimmer and other reef equipment. The Fiji Cube has easy slider adjustments to make your water level in the sump that much easier. Prices are very reasonable, with a Fiji-15 unit retailing for around $240 suitable for tanks up to 60 gallons. The group receives excellent reviews from aquarists looking for a lost cost sump with a unique array of features.
Fiji Cube sumps like the Fiji-20 unit and higher add a refugium section and a minimum of two filter socks. Their most significant group in the series taps out at supporting “up to” 300 – 450 gallons depending on stocking levels and two seven inch filter socks. All sumps include lids, which in our opinion, is a must-have to prevent water evaporation and salt creep.
