I think it’s safe to say that those of us who live in a colder climate are looking forward to an early spring. A couple weeks ago, Phil didn’t see his shadow, so we’re good, right? Regardless, we’ve had a busy week on the platform. Let’s take a moment to appreciate, This Week In Reefing.
Salem Clemens kicked off the week with an interesting article on an oddball coral you rarely see in the hobby. If you are lucky enough to find one at the LFS, they don’t look nearly as colorful as some of the specimens in the Reef Builders Studio.
Reef Therapy was taken over by the Ladies of Reef Builders this week! Evie, Jen, and Chelsie had a wide-reaching conversation about maintenance practices, bobbit worm bites, and palytoxin exposure.
We went behind-the-scenes to the Reef Builders Studio for an Acropora fragging session with Cris Capp from Aquatic Art Inc. Cris and Evie discussed the topic of coral warfare in a thriving reef aquarium and performed some much-needed pruning in the Red Sea Peninsula.
