This Week in Reefing – February 18th, 2024
We’re less than a week away from Reefstock Denver and everyone on the Reef Builders team is excited to see you! If haven’t purchased your tickets yet, make sure to do so here! We kicked off the week with great conversation surrounding the “Weeping Willow” leather coral Jake Adams made famous years ago. Thanks for participating and interacting on the Reef Builders Facebook page!
I updated everyone on my Red Sea 625 G2+.Thanks to an Aquabiomics test and Salem’s analysis of the results, I know that I have a coral pathogen and the dreaded Uronema present in my system. I was also visited by our good friend Cryptocaryon. Overall, the tank is doing well and progressing nicely!
Salem Clemens had another successful livestream with his, Reef Recap. There has been a lot of talk about a “probiotic concoction” hobbyists are using. Clemens delivered some concerns he has with the methodology but likes the concept overall. He also ranks LPS with another tier list!
Jeremy Gay featured the latest in the Red Sea Max Nano G2 series – including the NanoMat! We cannot wait to get one of these small roller mats to test in the studio.
