Grotech reformulated their coral marine salt and came up with this new brand of “easy mix”. This new reef salt is produced with optimized calcium and magnesium concentrations which help to promote coral and coraline algae growth. Unlike the older mix, which was hard to mix and often required additional additives, this new Easy mix doesn’t need the costly additives. Reef Builders living in the UK should have access to this new salt at their LFS but users in the US will have to wait for the specialty aquarium shops to pick this new salt up. A 25kg container of the salt will run you about £64.99 ($91.55) retail but most stores sell it in the £30-£45 range.
