I need to remind you that in Japan, surfing isn’t is a popular sport. How can they make it better? Build a reef. No, not a reef like you have in your aquarium. A reef, which is a pile of rocks and rubble 6 meters under the ocean, built upon sand of course. Actually surfing is very popular in Japan, so much that the government is going to build a reef 50 meters by 4.5 meters. Taking the shape of a boomerang, this should produce waves 1.5 meters to 2 meters high. Don’t worry, you don’t have to look for a ticket to Japan until late 2008, construction is reported to start in early 2008.
