A very rare albino whale shark was found off the coast of Darwin, the northern-most island of the Galapagos. Antonio Moreano, a local Galapagos island guide who took the pictures said “In my job as a dive guide I have seen many things from being right in the middle of a feeding frenzy with silky sharks to watching orcas eating hammerhead sharks. It was 4:30pm and I and six guests were at Darwin’s Island, set to make the fourth dive of the day.” He think saw a big white thing under the boat and swam down to get a closer look. He took the above picture and some others. Our thinking is the tourists who were with him on the trip got a nice bonus for their money.
