Korallen Zucht has released their largest skimmer to date, appropriately named the XXL skimmer. This new XXL skimmer is powered by 3 Aquabee UP7000 pumps and stands over 115cm(45.27 inches) tall. There seems to be a theme with large skimmers being released lately and this new XXL skimmer adds to the mix. The Revolution XXL skimmer is rated for tanks ranging from 20,000 liters (5,283 gallons) to 40,000 liters (10,566 gallons). You no doubt will see this guy pop up in Germany first, it is made there after all. Then we expect this to hit the UK market and perhaps if we are lucky we might see this in the United States. Although we wouldn’t hold our breath. The entry price for this massive giant starts at €3,990 ($5,154) which doesn’t seem all that bad assuming you can afford a 5,000 gallon tank.
