ATB has been on a hot road lately developing new and exciting products for hobbyists across the world. The latest is a more competitively priced skimmer line, named the Standard cone skimmer (ATB must have splurged on their marketing department). Using a sicce pump which would normally have common sicce issues like start-up, but ATB has addressed this in the new line. Currently it is in a pinwheel format and testing is being done for a meshwheel flavor. There is a modded base holder for the pump that should fit nicely in your sump too. We don’t have any word on price or release date but hopefully the price will be much cheaper then other ATB Skimmers.
