We have confirmed reports of Digital Aquatics newest controller hitting retail stores at a cool $149. This is certainly news in itself as no controller on the market currently is below the $200 price range. We also got our hands on preliminary documentation of this new wonder including pictures. The basic display hasn’t changed from the original reefkeeper 2 but it seems to be in a slimmer unit. What does $149 get you? It comes with the main control unit, a temperature probe and one PC4 which allows you to control power. Like we mentioned earlier, this model can have up to 16 timers or alarms and the actual unit is only .6″ thick and is 3.9″ x 2.8″. We are expecting a spring release, but at $149 we think that quite a lot of nano owners might spring for this affordable controller.
ReefKeeper Lite to cost $149, be only .6″ thick?
