One of the biggest complaints about aquascaping a saltwater aquariums is the sizes and widths that are available for live rock. Most designers literally have to chop and peck away at larger live rock sections, then drill and place them in a style that they like. All of this takes a lot of time and can get extremely messy, not to mention the tools needed to get the job done. You might have heard of aquaroche which is a similar concept but Atoll reef deco makes it appear like it’s live rock, because its made from live rock. The above picture hides a Tunze water pusher, and eventually a skimmer as well and is named a “tec tower”. This stuff is cheaper than aquaroche which everyone seems to appreciate lately. Reef pillars go for around $140 which ain’t to shabby. You can view the additional images below after the break.
