We’ve been hearing rumors about C the journal calling it quits. Well versed sources say that the last issue of the C the Journal never came out and there will be no more. We have no idea what will happen to Reading Trees publications but we would assume it would continue to be in existence. There’s no word on what happens to all the subscriptions of prior customers or whether there will be any reimbursements. With Calfo’s new affiliation with Coral Magazine there is a possibility that existing subscriptions of C the Journal may be fulfilled with new issues of Coral Magazine instead. Many of these details are tenuous but given the lack of enthusiasm for C the Journal and it’s decreasing presence on bookshelves in LFS throughout the country, all signs point to the termination of C. If anyone has heard differently, please let us know.
