With Current’s new Solana XL 60 which is the Solana’s big brother we found out a lot more of this new aquarium. With the initial pictures we got our hands on suggested the the aquarium was a frame-tank, the aquarium can actually double as either a frame, or frame-less tank. The aquarium itself features 3 panels of low iron (high clarity) glass along with a complete overflow system with two return jets that are fully adjustable. The sump (measures 23″ x 10.5″ x 16″) which looks quite sexy is made out of glass and includes a sock filter and freshwater top off system. It looks like the autotop off system is the white bottles towards the left (click the more link for all the pictures) that hold a measly 36 ounces (.28 gallons). Water is transferred throughout the system by means of a quiet one return pump 4000 which pumps 1017 GPH eating up just 50 watts. The stand which looks like a nice upgrade from the current Solana has a modern black finish and has a amazingly cool illuminated area inside. Nice. However, this best part of all of this is the stand is pre-assembled which means no instructions, wooden dowels, or glue to mess with. Hit up the read link below for all the extra goodies.
