It wasn’t too long ago we brought you the first pictures of the Alpha Cone series including hands on shots and video, but the Alpha 250 ‘s smaller sibling the Alpha 200 has begun to ship. The photo above gives a great comparison shot of the Alpha 250 and Alpha 200 in size. One trick that is definitely in the “cool” category is the extra feed port that is on the Alpha 200 skimmer, which allows you to move input pump around in your sump if you have any space constraints. That is something that we would love to see on other skimmers. Meanwhile the smallest skimmer in the Alpha cone series, the Alpha 170’s should be hitting the shores of the United States in two weeks.
