How the idea of this got into this guys head we don’t know. But apparently a man in Chicago was posing as a doctor to buy vials of deadly puffer fish toxin. What was he going to do with this toxin? Kill his wife naturally, and collect $20 million as he passed GO. When agents stormed his home in suburban Lake in the hills they found syringes, needles and get this: a book on how to poison people. “Tuesday’s indictment charged that Bachner bought the toxin for the specific purpose of killing his wife and collecting life insurance. Bachner made a wire transfer of $39,989.49 from his bank account to Peterson International Underwriters of Valencia, Calif., in February 2008 to buy the $20 million policy, according to the indictment.” The man is going to jail and he is not passing GO, nor collecting $20 million dollars.
