We knew the NeWave pump was coming way back in March, or so we thought. However, Practical Fish keeping got to grab a nice shot of the NeWave pump from Aquarium Systems. Aquarium systems are they same guys that bring you the Maxi Jet line of pumps. Following along the lines of other prop pumps like Tunze’s, Koralia’s and the VorTechs from EcoTech Marine, these pumps will feature a main style propeller to propel water through your tank. There will be 6 models in all ranging from 750 – 6700lph. Expect controllable units to come shortly after launch of the NeWave. Retail is expected to top out at £85.95 ($143).
