Aqua Illumination, the company that still produces LED lighting units is set to launch a refresh of their LED lighting units. From these rendered images not much as changed externally. The heatsinks will still be on the updated models giving the units an industrial look to them. What has changed is the body, with Aqua Illumination opting for a white body giving off a nice clean look. Apparently Aqua Illumination has licensed the patent that Orbitec owns and likes to enforce with their PFO lawsuit.  Besides that though details are tight with the exception of using the same style LEDs in the previous unit (Cree XR-E). We should expect new models to pop up in October with a sneak peak of these new beauties during MACNA if production/testing continues as planned.
Update: We’ve just recieved pricing information. These prices are about 10% less then prices for the older outgoing models.
