Chaetodontoplus cephalareticulatus syn., the orange face angelfish was recently aquired by a Japanese marine aquarium store called Sea Park. The orange face angelfish usually is usually collected from the waters of Taiwan, but this fish was collected from the ocean between Kyushu Island and Shikoku Island, called Bungo Channel at the depth of 20 -25m(65-82 ft.).  Actually, Sea Park is located in ÅŒita Prefecture which is faced to Bungo Channel.  The size of this amazing fish is around 14cm (5.5 in.) and the price is 45,000yen ($500.00). When you check the shop’s website, you can see that the shop is selling some other rare fish, such as Centropyge interruptus, Chaetodontoplus melanosoma and Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis. Sea Park’s motto is that it’s “the best shop for Centropyge interruptus in Japan”. This orange face angelfish was quickly sold to customer.
