Dennerle is a company out of Germany that produces aquarium products in the freshwater world. They might have taken the first step in positioning themselves into the saltwater market. Their first new light shown above was released recently for nano saltwater aquariums. The light appears to be a low-tech power compact fluorescent in the 10k color range. While the light isn’t that fancy its good to remember that Dennerle isn’t known to make expensive products and as such this nano saltwater light should be very affordable at under 20 euro. By itself this light isn’t that much of a deal to you dear hobbyists, but what it could signal is a much bigger deal in the saltwater world in Europe.
