GHL thought it wise to show off their new ProFilux Touch interface device. The Touch that GHL had on display at MACNA was a prototype with the functionality limited to only two buttons. We’ve been following the Touch and first introduced the device last month when it leaked out from Germany. The display is an LCD screen that can easily adjust controls on the ProFilux III (P3) controller. The screen resolution isn’t what you would find in the iPhone 4, but again this is a prototype and the final model could change but we aren’t holding our breath. While you might want to get your paws on the ProFilux touch, the touch only works with the ProFilux III controller. This leaves the ProFilux II wishing how amazing the world would be had it only be able to receive touch input. The Touch uses the ProFilux Aquatic Bus or PAB which provides a seamless integration into the ProFilux controller.
The Touch from GHL is still undergoing testing, but should be available by the end of 2010 which is a slightly revised date from the original date of September we heard last month. We’ve heard retail pricing from the touch device between $299-$499 with no firm price point set from GHL. There are more images of the Touch below the break.
