Dinoflagellates are very annoying in reef aquariums. A new product called DinoXal from QFI (Quality Fish Imports) is said to eliminate or remove dinoflagellates from your aquarium. We aren’t too sure what is in DinoXal, but if it works as advertised it should remove dinoflagellates, leaving you, the aquarist, less annoyed. This product has just hit the German market within the past week, with a retail of €40 ($52). A rough translation goes on to describe that DinoXAL is the most reliable product to combat algae problems like Dinoflagellates, and diatoms while still not affecting the aquarium environment.
