Teco brought out the new TANK Chiller Line here at Interzoo. Designed from the ground up, these new chillers incorporate some unique features that are worth checking out. First off, these chillers are nice to look at so having one of these parked next to your tank in not as much of an eyesore.
The top is removable and acts as a side vent to direct the airflow. Depending on how you intend to install it, you have the ability to reposition the top to direct the hot air in whatever direction you wish. The vent also works with an optional ‘Conveyor Extension Kit’, which essentially lets you route the hot air out of the room or aquarium cabinet. The inlet and outlet pipes are place in a recessed corner edge of the unit, so that the chiller can be placed flush against the wall. This design also helps the units fit in smaller spaces. The chillers also include a removable air filter that can be cleaned with ease.
Each unit includes a digital thermostat that is intuitive to use and has settings ranging from 32F-95F. The thermostat is described as being accurate to 1 degree fahrenheit. There are nine different sized models, which includes industrial sized units up to 15 kW. The unique design features described above relate to the home-sized units.
