Reef shows are the premier place to meet other hobbyists, talk to professionals and be inspired for your aquarium projects. This year’s MACNA was no exception, and we were excited to run into a young hobbyist and aspiring aquarium YouTuber named Matthew.
We ran into Matthew at the JBJ booth where he was the lucky winner of a Picotope aquarium and later caught up with him at the ReefBuilders and World Wide Corals booth. We hooked him up some with some new frags courtesy of WWC and introduced him to Jake Adams and the World Wide Corals crew.
We chatted about his budding aquarium passion and learned more about his YouTube channel. Matthews channel Reef & Livebearer Aquatics is in its infancy, and we are excited to see a younger generation getting involved in the hobby.
For everyone who wasn’t able to make it to MACNA, you can check out his video below of MACNA show tanks. At only thirteen years old we are inspired by the enthusiasm of new hobbyists like Matthew and hope he continues making and sharing his aquarium videos!
