The team at ATM Aquarium Products is enlisting the help of companies like Aquatop, Exotic Marine Fish Importers Houston, V2O Foods, and MinnFinn to help stores and aquatic businesses impacted by Hurricane Irma. The goal is to deliver 1 ton of ATM Hot Salt Reef to plus other supplies like foods and medications to help alleviate some of the losses these businesses faced.
According to the press release we saw from ATM, the arrival is pending opening of shipping lanes to Florida and affected areas. All of us know how devastating the loss of power can be in maintaining an aquarium for short periods, but dealing with the large-scale impact and losses during a hurricane are significant making it hard for business to get back on their feet and stay in business.
For many businesses, the loss of livestock or damage to facilities can be devastating to the business. Having some aid for some necessities to get systems back up and to treat sick or injured livestock is huge. Businesses can contact Stacey Blood of ATM for timetables and logistics at 855-258-7475 x 103. The collection point will be at JJ Corals, (4226 Fowler St, Fort Myers, FL 33901).
