Frog Spit Anti-Fog
Frog Spit is an anti-fog product you can use for scuba masks, which comes in a convenience pre-moistened wipe or easy to apply liquid solution. Frog spit is water soluble, biodegradable and Earth-friendly, containing no harmful chemicals.
To use frog spit you just start with a clean dry mask. If you are using the liquid product a single drop or two per lens is all you need. Apply a light coating to the surface of any glass or plastic, and the key here is to let the product dry, it will dry clear.
Unlike other anti-fogs you want to leave the dried layer of frog spit on your mask and do not rinse or clean your mask before diving. The pre-moistened wipes are single use and you can apply to the mask in the same way.
After a dive, all you want to do is rinse your mask in fresh water and then remove and hang to dry. If you do this the frog spit layer should last for several dives before needing to re-apply.
