Drones Help Rescue Whales From Debris
Aerial video from the drones is helping NOAA better help untangle whales caught in debris in the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. NOAA has partnered with Oceans Unmanned of California to use drones to aid in the precarious task of helping the large mammals out when in distress.
Six-pack rings that don’t kill
We touched on the six-pack rings from Saltwater Brewery in the past, but this is worth seeing all over again. Instead of adding more deadly plastic six-pack rings to the waste stream these unique can holders are biodegradable and even edible by wildlife since they’re made from by-products of the brewing process.

So this hairy sea creature washed ashore in Russia and have people scratching their heads at what this is. Some are speculating this is actually a thawed woolly mammoth. What do you think?
