Pure white sand and crystal blue water, what else could you ask for with Caribbean diving? We really enjoyed the tranquil beauty of La Cana, an easy dive site in the Gardens of the Queen Cuba.
Rocky coral bommies surrounded by white sand always put us into a dream like a state drifting slowly through the dive. I remember one of the very first dives I did over ten years ago was similar to La Cana, and I always keep these white sandy bottom dives in a special spot.
If you’re in the Gardens of the Queen and looking for a relaxing dive to zone out, run your hands along the powdery soft sand, drift amongst gorgonians, and be lost in a dream, La Cana is the spot for you.
We also found some pretty nice coral colonies, some including some branching staghorn Acropora, and one of the brightest red Montstreas I’ve ever seen.
