Tropical Marine Centre has been on a roll lately (no pun intended) and have a few new products for all your dosing needs. The new Tropical Marine Centre REEF Easi-Dose Plus 3 and Easi-Stir give you the ability to stirring functions to your Easi-Dose Plus modules allowing you to spin up your favorite dosing products and dose up to 199ml up to 24 times per day.
While the Easi-Dose Plus 3 models aren’t much different from a pumping perspective, the ability to add up to three Easy-Stir units per module is a great feature. The handy Easy-Stir units will fire up and spin your dosing solution for a full 30 seconds before pumping into your aquarium. This help ensure your product is fully mixed from settling and since it spins ahead of each dose, will ensure each dose is consistent.
Each Easi-Dose Plus 3 module runs on low voltage 12v DC power are 3W and features an LCD screen and can easily be adjusted anywhere from 0-199ml up to 24 times per day. The system can easily be expanded with another eight slave dosing pumps by using up to two four-pump Easi-Dose slave units all independently controlled from the master system. The Easi-Dose Plus 3 retails for £169.99 (approx. $220 USD) and the slave units retail around £139.99 (approx. $180 USD).
Previous versions of the TMC Easi-Stir included a separate timer module, but the new Easi-Stir connects directly to the Easi-Dose system and retails for £34.99 (approx. $45 USD) with matching containers sold separately or just use your own.
