The Eco Fleece Dreambox by Royal Exclusiv is one of the most feature-rich and customizable automatic filter rolls available for aquariums and now there’s a smaller size for your consideration. Like its larger brother, the Small Eco Fleece Dreambox has all the same mechanics and programmability but in a smaller, more affordable cost.
The customizable timer used for determining the amount of filter roll that gets spooled is still present, but has been moved to the top for easier access. The width and height of the Eco Fleece Dreambox Small is the same as its predecessor but the length has been shaved by 30% for total dimension of 34 x 40 x 57cm or 13.4 x 16 x 23 inches.
Although the overall size of the Eco Fleece Dreambox has been cut down by roughly a third, the filtering capacity has been cut by more than half. With a total volume of around 65 liters, the suggested flowrate is between 3,000 and 5,000 liters per hour, a maximum of 1,300 gallons per hour.
The estimated price of the Small Single Eco Fleece has dropped to 997€ or around $1118 before shipping or any options like lighting and fittings for external use. The Large Eco Fleece Dreambox with its 3,000 gallon per hour flowrate is a much better value but now there is a smaller option if you have a really small sump or simply have nowhere near the requirements for that maximum flowrate.
