It seems like World Wide Corals has been working on their new location for a really long time but at long last the wait is over. Although World Wide Corals seems to have an outsize presence online, the beating heart of this coral fragging machine has always been their retail location, a must-visit for any reefers traveling anywhere near Orlando Florida.
This will never be more true than next weekend, November 2nd & 3rd when World Wide Corals officially opens the doors to their Aquarium Superstore. This new central command for World Wide Corals is going to be pretty special because their first location really expanded as they went along, but this new facility was built from the ground up to cater to all of World Wide Corals’ divisions.
Calling the new WWC Retail location a ‘fish store’ doesn’t even close to describing the new space which includes both the dry goods, live corals, live fish, invertebrates, new reef displays, a call center, shipping department and of course, the famous WWC Coral Farm is also under the same roof. Of course if you know anything about WWC, they’re not simply going to open to business as usual, it’s going to be a major reefing party and everyone’s invited.
Next weekend we’ll be headed back to Orlando to meet, greet, speak, and generally meet some enthusiastic reefers alongside California reefing mogul Greg Caroll. There’s going to be an avalanche of corals, tons of fish, an enormous amount of schwag, deals aplenty – we can’t wait to see what WWC’s put together with their new Temple of Reefing and hope to meet many new Reef Builders while we’re out there.
