Slide-Loc containers caught our eye with their customizable frag rack system. The locking channel design offers versatility for transporting lots o’ little frags or spaced apart for larger more aggressive corals.
Avoid plastic bags and carry your frag container for a local fish store for easy transportation. You can also use the containers for treating, cleaning, and inspecting corals. The reversible tray (white and black) is great for treating corals with dip solutions, searching for pests.
The frag trays are custom fitted into snap locking watertight boxes, currently offered in two styles. The newest addition to the lineup is the larger sandwich box style tray. The second is a round cup holder container. This version also have a magnetic frag rack atachment coming soon.
The Slide-Loc system comes in two sizes, the smaller is designed to fit in a cup holder with small & medium plugs. Holds either 4 small or 2 medium and a small.
Medium size slide loc systems come in a lunch box size, and can be used with small, medium, or large plugs. Holds up to 22 small plugs, 12 medium, or a combination.
The rack allows for multiple spacing options in the same container including adjustable height and frag orientation. Use one post to angle the smaller tray or two posts for the larger trays to create a free-standing display in your reef tank.
Coming soon Slide-Loc has teased two new magnetic frag racks. One is a magnet that pairs to the cup holder style rack. The second is long low profile design to fit close to the glass. The channel allows for versatility of spacing out frags exactly how you need them with a maximum of 9 frags.
Magnetic racks will be available in October, lunch box and cup holder style frag racks are now availabe from Slide-Loc.
