And this time Remy transitioned from the ultra-clean, ultra-modern facility that we see in TG videos to the place where it all started the now twenty-year-old greenhouse.
In this latest video, Remy gets a personal tour of the Tidal Gardens greenhouse facility, gets to peek into all the original Rubbermaid tubs, some still lit by Chinese T5 hydroponic light fixtures, and gets to find out the trials and tribulations of coral farming this way, including seasonal variations in natural daylight.
Than and Remy discuss TG’s use of algae scrubbers, their switchover to Kalkwasser, as well as some of the coral experiments that are going on there, and the treasure trove of grown-out colonies that some aquarists seek out.
