CoralsCaptiv-E by SeaSlug wants to feed your small polyp filter feeders

By on Nov 04, 2010

CoralsCaptiv-E is the latest product from Poland-based SeaSlug and is a small particle, filter food for your smaller polyp filter feeders in your tank. The CoralsCaptiv-E pearls are touted as being highly nutritious with high levels of protein, vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids all to help to improve the overall health, growth and coloration in your critters. They are also very small in size measuring around 100?m.

The company is aiming this product for corals with poor prey capture responses and those with smaller polyps — Montipora, Porites, Acropora, gorgonians and some soft corals. The food is also good for those housing non-photosynthetic corals (NPS) or azooxanthellate corals. SeaSlug uses a pharmaceutical grade production process they state allowing it to maintain the original taste, texture and nutrition of the live animals the product simulates. This product competes with other foods on the market including the ReefPearls we brought you earlier. A 100g package of CoralsCaptiv-E will run you around €11.99 (approx. $17 USD).
