Rogger’s Reef Food Signature Coral Blend

By on Jan 04, 2012

The frozen coral food market is a burgeoning new segment in feeding our corals as well as our fish and Chef Rogger’s new product is vying for a spot in your aquarium food freezer. Unlike many coral foods which are simply ground up shrimp and more, Rogger’s Reef Food Signature Coral Blend is specially formulated for corals with nothing but the best shrimp, mussels, copepods, ReefPearls and ‘marine strength’ copepods. We’ve always like how Roger’s Reef Food removes the exoskeletons of the shrimp before preparation and Rogger’s Reef Food Signature Coral Blend is no different. A 2 ounce packet of Rogger’s Reef Food Signature Coral Blend costs $7.99 available online now and at Rogger’s Reef Food dealers very soon.

I know Rogger personally, and I know how much time and effort he puts into his food.  If this is even half as good as his other formulas, then it will be fantastic, I can’t wait to try it.

I went to the LFS looking for Rod’s, but could only find Rogger’s. My fish and I were not impressed.

I use Rogger’s food for my fish and my corals and it is, hands down, the best food I have ever used.  The quality of the ingredients he uses are top-notch and I was lucky enough to get some of this coral blend from him at a frag swap a couple months ago and I love it for my mixed reef (mostly LPS). With the exception of the occasional flakes and pellets, I only use Roggers food. I used to use Rod’s and have nothing bad to say about it, but I simply like Rogger’s better.

Sorry David-  Nothing like Rod’s food.

Ive tried both.  I dont just feed Roggers food.  i use a wide array of foods but Rod’s was taken out of my rotation when I discovered Roggers.  Rod has good products but Roggers IMHO is a much CLEANER feed.

We always strive to keep excess waste out of our tanks.  I have found that to be superior in Roggers food.

I was lucky enough to Beta test his new addition, the coral food, and it is a very, again, CLEAN feed.

I dont like adding excess detritus to my tank.
