Tiny Bandit Angelfish video by Fishcube is absolutely irresistible

By on Jun 22, 2012

It’s been too long since we’ve professed our love for the bandit angelfish, Apolemichthys arcuatus, and to make up for it we’ve got this great video of a tiny lil guy. Mr. Fishcube received this tee-nine-tsy baby bandit from Hawaii about a week ago and already the little black and white wonder is pounding all kinds of foods like a champ. We’ve seen and covered many a bandit angelfish before, even very small one but this video is probably the closest, clearest and smallest juvenile Apolemichthys arcuatus that we’ve ever seen.

Someone needs to breed these again… ;)

They’re working on it, so it’s only a matter of time.

These fish were commonly seen on Kona reefs until the aquarium collectors took them. Now they’re rarely seen and mostly only on the deeper reefs. Hawaii wants it’s fish back.
