When writing this article I really had no clue that Great White Sharks can be less than 45 feet. You see, the Monterey bay Aquarium just acquired a 4 foot Great White Shark. Which if you’ve seen Jaws, that’s just a baby! She is just 55 pounds and comes in just over 4 feet. The shark, named death , will stay at the aquarium for a period of months before being released back into the ocean so she can kill live in wild. All kidding aside, the aquarium has been doing this for several years as part of their ongoing White Shark Research Project. You can see the shark on exhibit now.
