It might be a little dry at first but if you’ve ever set up a marine tank then you will be able to appreciate the new reality web-show L.A. Fishguys. The show is the brainchild of Jim Stime who runs the aquarium service company Aquarium Design in Thousand Oaks California. A typical episode shows Jim with or without his crew while he travels to various marine aquaria while speaking very slowly about what events are taking place. The aquarium service guys will certainly appreciate all the snags that arise out of dealing with usually oversize, custom made reef tanks. FWIW, the Midwater Systems crew really do seem to be serious aquarists with lots of experience and we have already learned a thing or two from watching their chronicles. We’ll rib them a little bit for having one episode with 8 different guys working on a 5′ tall cylinder aquarium and another episode where Jim is alone giving us a tour of a mediocre looking reef with ghetto fabulous DIY styling and a trash can for a sump. Nice. What we want to know is how did this show go 30 episode without us ever even hearing about it?
Have you heard about the marine aquarium reality show? It took us by surprise too
